Conveniently located within Unicoi State Park, this is a must-do for all adventurous families. Safety comes first so you can enjoy the park zipping through the tree canopy. The following tour is the tour we took and great for all beginners as long as they meet the age and weight requirements. Have a blast!
Level 1 Zipline Canopy Tour - Approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours of heart pounding FUN! This tour consist of:
11 ziplines that range from 75 feet to 400 feet in length
7 skywalk bridges & 2 towers
Heights range from 20 to 75 feet in the air!
You will enjoy a safari in the tops of very cool trees and zipping by the lodge with great views. Be sure to look for bald eagles, red tailed hawks, deer and our very cute raccoons.

You must be at least 8 years old for the Level 1 tour. The minimum weight is 50 lbs. We reserve the right to weigh anyone we think may be under or over the weight requirements.
The maximum weights we allow are:
Ladies: under 250 lbs
Gentlemen: under 285 lbs
You must be able to climb two 65-foot towers and a 100-foot tower. You need to have good balance capabilities, be able to walk on uneven terrain, and have full range of motion in your upper and lower extremities. You must be able to control your speed of travel along the zip lines by resting your gloved hands on the pulley and cable systems. It is required that you are able to understand verbal instructions and to pull yourself along cables in case you lose momentum before reaching any said platform. You must be able to see our guides and recognize hand motions. This is not recommended for those with moderate to severe heart and/or respiratory difficulties, recent surgeries, second or third trimester pregnancies or those with moderate to severe musculoskeletal problems. This is considered a moderate to heavy physical workout!

This KOA has a few different cabin options including one and two bedroom units. Most cabins sleep 4 but the two bedroom can accommodate up to six. All include a bathroom (some may not have tub/shower) and they all include linens!

Experience what it feels like to sleep in a Sioux replica Indian Teepee. Both options are surrounded by natural landscaping, close to restrooms and activities. One unit sleeps four and the other can accommodate up to six people. Linens are available for a fee.
