It is all about the biscuits at Maple Street Biscuit Company.  Baked throughout the day you are ensured fresh, warm pieces of heaven.  Their menu includes simple biscuit sandwiches as well as Signature Specialties.  There is also a great sides menu to complete your meal.

Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground is conveniently located just 1.3 miles off Interstate 24 at the Lookout Valley exit (#174) and very convenient to downtown Chattanooga and attractions.  Since it is off the highway, it is blissfully quiet.  If you have time for a tour, Raccoon Mountain Caverns are on-site for an additional fee.

Ruby Falls – Chattanooga, TN

Iconic Ruby Falls is named one of the "Ten Most Incredible Cave Waterfalls on Earth" and it easy to see why.  Water pours from rocks 145-feet above before cascading down into a small pool.  Standing at the base of the falls, you can feel the mist and hear the power of the water. Tours start an elevator ride that lowers visitors over 1,000 feet below the surface of Lookout Mountain.  Your tour guide will meet you and take you along the tour route that gives ample time to view beautiful cave formations.

Lookout Mountain Tower can be accessed at the end of the tour for panoramic views of the Tennessee Valley below.

Tennessee Aquarium – Chattanooga, TN

Tennessee Aquarium, located along the banks of the Tennessee River, is truly a gem.  Housed in two buildings; each has it own focus.  River Journey follows a single drop of rain as it falls into a creek high in the Appalachian Mountains all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.  There are stunning tanks filled with colorful trout, immense catfish and ancient-looking sturgeon.  The river otters at play will capture your heart.  The Ocean Journey building houses salt-water life including colorful coral reef inhabitants, sharks, rays, sea-turtles and more.  Penguins can be viewed here and don't forget to enjoy the rain forest where butterflies fly free.

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum – Chattanooga, TN

Take a break from the hectic and relax on a ride back in time at Tennessee Valley Railway!  Historic steam locomotives pulling vintage passenger cars travel along rail lines from the early days of Chattanooga.  Short on time?  There is usually a "Local" ride which is about an hour.  They offer longer train excursions as well as specialty train trips such as Day Out with Thomas and North Pole Express.
