Lassen National Park
Butte Lake Campground (elevation 6,100 feet) is located in the northeastern section of Lassen Volcanic National Park. This campground is fairly remote and is not connected to the main attractions of the National Park ( Travel time is 45 minutes from the main park road). Campers must travel on a six-mile gravel road to access the beautiful campground with campsites in the shade of Ponderosa Pines. Butte Lake is an easy walk from all campsites and is popular for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming.
There are 101 sites; most pull-throughs. Max length for RV's and trailers is 35'. Sites in Loop B are reservable.
